Great vid! The feature itself...yeah, pretty low on the inspiration. Santa is pretty much edging the Easter Bunny out of his own special, there's a Snowmiser-esque villian, none of the songs seem to be nearly as good, and the animation and character designs don't really have the charm of the stop-motion classics. Granted, it's kind of hard to really do a non-denominational Easter special. Like, Santa Claus has an interesting real-life analog, tons of various international interpretations (like Santa the Mexican God), and basically a much richer ready-made mythos. The Easter Bunny? If there is one, I haven't really heard of it.
